I started this blog with the intention of helping publicize  Shadows and Sunshine   , a memoir of my Jamaican childhood. For many years as a teacher of English, my desire to express myself in writing and art was largely suppressed by the constraints of making a living. Recently my life as a writer and artist has become enriched with my interest in creating animated films. Telling stories with illustration and animation is what I now live for. I am interested in the strange and mysterious, in unusual people and their motivation, in the paranormal, and in fashion.
